Ken's Throwback Thursday

EachThursday Ken pulls a photo from his archive to share!
This week: our friend Maki who plays in a Skynyrd Tribute from Japan crossed the Pacific just to play a show with us. We had a major language barrier but we still played a full night of.Skynyrd . It went near flawlessly! And we forged a friendship that will last a lifetime.

18 Years Strong
2015 marks our 18th consecutive year with the same line up!  How many bands can brag about that? We never imagined in our wildest dreams that two decades later we would still be ticking. Or that this music would take us outside the boundaries of New York State and onto some of the biggest stages in the country. Stages that we would share with Charlie Daniels, Molly Hatchet, REO Speedwagon, Blackfoot and more. what's more important is that we have met a lot of great people, and have made friendships that will last a lifetime. We are very fortunate to still be here doing what we love to do. So thank you!! Thank you to Gary Rossington and Johnny Van Zant for giving us their personal blessing to play their music, and ultimately Ronnie Van Zant for writing the words that will forever drive every show. And last but never least a huge thanks to our service men and women for defending our privilege to play the music of Lynyrd Skynyrd in the best country in the world. We are forever grateful!
